Changes to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Accommodation Tax (Effective April 2027)

Thank you for your continued patronage of Hotel Metropolitan.
Following a revision to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s accommodation tax ordinance, the accommodation tax will change as outlined below for stays beginning on or after April 1, 2027 (Thursday).
Please note that the revised tax rates will apply to all stays on or after April 1, 2027, regardless of when the reservation was made or when payment for the accommodation was made.
