Q.When do I need to cancel by? Do you charge a cancellation fee?
A.If you wish to cancel your booking, please do so up to two days prior to the date of your booking.
A cancellation fee will apply if canceling a booking the day prior to or the day of the booking.

Q.Do you have a children’s price?
A.Children under six years of age stay free of charge if they sleep in the same bed as an adult in the same room.
*Only one child per bed.
Also, buffet breakfast is free for children aged three years and under at All Day Dining Cross Dine. The price for children aged 4-12 years is ¥1,700 (including tax).
About guest rooms
Q.Can I use the Internet in my room?
A.Guest rooms are fully equipped with Wi-Fi and wired LAN. They can be used free of charge in all rooms.

Q.Does the room price include breakfast?
A.With the exception of some accommodation plans, all prices are for the room only.
Breakfast is served at All Day Dining Cross Dine (1st floor). Room service is also available.
Q.Do the rooms contain amenity items?
A.Rooms are equipped with sleepwear, towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrushes, combs, shower caps, and cotton balls.
There is also a hair dryer in each room.

Q.Do you have any connecting rooms?
A.Connecting rooms can be provided with two twin rooms only.
If you wish to request connecting rooms, please advise us in advance.
Q.Are you able to add extra beds?
A.Extra beds can be added to the 27 ㎡ twin rooms only.
Additional fees will depend on the plan, so please inquire in advance.
Q.Do you have cots available?
A.Cots are available free of charge. The number available is limited, so please advise your requirements when you book.
Cots may only be used for infants aged under 12 months.

Q.What are your check-in and check-out times?
A.Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. and check-out is until 12:00 noon. (May vary depending on your plan.)
Q.Can I extend my check-out time?
A.If you use the room after the check-out time, you will be charged the following additional hourly fee. Extensions beyond 6:00 p.m. will incur a full night’s accommodation fee.

Q.Will you look after my luggage before check-in and after check-out?

Q.Will it be okay if I check in late at night?
A.If you know your approximate arrival time, please let us know when you book or contact Front Reception.
Please also be sure to let us know if your arrival time will be delayed. There is no curfew.
Q.What if I arrive before the 3:00 p.m. check-in time?
A.We will process your check-in and accept your luggage.
Q.Is there a way I can speed up the check-out process?
A.We offer a service in which guests may settle their account the day before checking out and, on the day of their departure, simply return their card key together with the special form provided.
Please ask Front Reception about “Flex Check-out” if you are interested in this service.
Please note that, depending on your booking, this option may not be available.
Q.Can I specify a particular room number or request a high floor?
A.Room numbers are basically decided on the day, so such requests are not accepted.
We will, however, make every effort to accommodate guests’ wishes regarding higher floors, etc., so please ask when you make your booking.
Q.I want to send my luggage ahead by courier service...
A.Please send it care of Front Reception.
When sending your luggage, please state clearly the name of the staying guest and the date of check-in.
Please note, however, that we are unable to look after cash, valuables, breakable items, or items requiring temperature or humidity control.

Q.Is fitness center free of charge?
A.No. Jexer is a membership fitness club and they offer our hotel staying guests a special rate of 2,200JPY/day including rental wears. To use the facility, please purchase a coupon at the Front Desk. Children under 16 years old are not admitted to enter the facility.
Q.Is there a swimming pool?
A.Yes. There is 18x2m compact pool which is perfect for walking exercise or cooling down. However, it is part of the fitness club which requires facility fee. Please note that children under 16 years old are not admitted to enter.
Q.Can you make a reservation for restaurants outside the hotel?
A.Yes. Guest Relations team is more than happy to assist you in making a restaurant reservation. Please e-mail at email@example.com for your request.
Q.Can I exchange foreign currency?
A.Yes. A foreign currency exchange machine is in front of the reception on the lobby of the 1st floor.
Q.Do you have a launderette inside hotel?
A.Yes. There is a launderette only for staying guests which open 24 hours.

Q.Can I pay by credit card?

Q.What if someone other than the person staying wishes to pay for the accommodation?
A.In such cases, we require payment by the day before check-in by bank transfer, credit card, or cash.
If paying in cash, please come to the hotel and pay directly.
If you wish to pay by credit card or bank transfer, please telephone the hotel.
Q.What is a deposit?
A.The Metropolitan Hotel requires a deposit of a certain set amount to be paid at check-in.
Please have cash or credit card ready when you check in.
Q.What is the minimum number of people you can accommodate for banquets?
A.This depends on the style of party, so please feel free to consult with us.
Q.How many hours can I use the room for a party?
A.Parties are generally up to two (2) hours but may be extended upon request.
Q.May I view the venue?
A.Venues can be viewed from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays and weekends.
We may not be able to show you some rooms that are in use or otherwise unavailable, but we will show you rooms that will be suitable for the type of function and planned number of attendees.
Q.Do you have car parking?
A.There is space for 143 vehicles in the hotel’s underground parking, as well as space for 577 vehicles at the separate Metropolitan Parking facility.
Service coupons are available for guests attending banquets at the hotel, so please inquire with a staff member.
On weekends and public holidays, the hotel’s parking fills up quickly, so we recommend coming by public transport.
Q.Am I able to make a tentative booking for a banquet venue?
A.Tentative bookings are held for up to one week after the booking is made.
No fee is charged to make a tentative booking.
A.We regret we do not accept reservations for car parking.
Q.How do I get to the hotel from the closest train station?
A.The closest station is Ikebukuro Station.

Exit the ticket gate at Ikebukuro Station’s Metropolitan Exit and proceed straight ahead.
There is a staircase going down straight ahead and another staircase going down to the right. Take the staircase on the right down to street level.
With the convenience store on your left, continue straight ahead until you reach a set of traffic lights.
The beige building straight in front of the traffic lights is the Hotel Metropolitan.
● Ikebukuro Station West Exit from the JR Line/Seibu Ikebukuro Line/Subway Marunouchi Line/Subway Yurakucho Line
When you emerge from the West Exit, you will see amusement arcade ‘ADORES ’ diagonally to the left. Turn left at the corner past amusement arcade.
With Nishi-guchi Park (GLOBAL RING) on your right, walk straight ahead along the street until you reach a set of traffic lights.
Cross the street at the lights and the beige building immediately to the right is the Hotel Metropolitan.
● Ikebukuro Station on the Tobu Tojo Line
Exit from the ticket gate furthest along in the direction of travel and proceed to the right.
When you see Megane Drug eyewear store straight ahead, turn left and proceed along the road, cross the first set of traffic lights, and the beige building immediately on the right is the Hotel Metropolitan.
Q.Is there a limousine bus to the airport?
A.Yes. Limousine buses depart from the hotel to Narita and Haneda Airports.
Buses depart about once every hour from the hotel’s main entrance. (Fare required)
Narita Airport: Approx. 120 min. (one way) Adults: ¥3,200; Children: ¥1,600
Haneda Airport: Approx. 60 min. (one way) Adults: ¥1,300; Children: ¥650
Q.Is there a bus to Tokyo Disney Resort from the hotel?
A.The hotel does not operate a service, but direct buses to Tokyo Disney Resort departs from the West Exit of Ikebukuro Station. Refer to the URL below for timetables and other details.
Tokyo Disney Resort can also be accessed by subway and train services.
Q.Do you have a child-minding facility?
A.Unfortunately, we do not have a child-minding facility.
Baby-sitter services are available in the guest rooms.

A.The hotel is not able to supply general pharmaceuticals, as doing so would contravene the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act (Article 24).
